Front Backrest, Removing And Installing

Front seat - assembly overview







1 - Right seat trim
2 - Belt buckle
3 - Seat
4 - Backrest
5 - Collar
6 - Adjusting knob (lumbar support)
7 - Left seat trim
8 - Adjusting knob (backrest)
9 - Adjusting lever (seat height)
10 - Spreader pins
11 - Bolt for left trim

Removing
- Remove seat.

Assembly overview.

- Remove belt buckle.







- Pull off adjusting knob - 8 -.
- Push four spreader pins - 10 - of adjusting lever - 9 - inward and remove adjusting lever.
- Remove trim - 1 -.
- Remove bolt - 11 -.
- Remove trim - 7 -.







- Disconnect harness connector - 1 - for backrest heater.







- Unscrew fitting bolts - 1 - on both sides of seat and remove backrest.

Installing







Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE: Fitting bolts - 1 - must be secured with fluid locking compound D 000 600 A2 (tightening torque 20 Nm).
