Crankshaft
Axial clearance
New 0.07-0.23 mm
Wear limit 0.25 mm
Measure radial clearance with Plastigage
New 0.018-0.045 mm
Wear limit 0.10 mm

Bearing cap
Bearing cap 4 with recesses for thrust washers
Tighten to 60 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°) further

Conrod bolt
M8 30 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°)
M8.5 40 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°)

Bearing shell
Measure radial play with plastigage:
New 0.015 - 0.062 mm
Wear limit 0.120 mm

Crankshaft toothed belt sprocket
- Tighten to 200 Nm + 1/2 turn (180°) further
- Always replace fastener
- Oil threads

Vibration damper
When installing note fixing arrangement
- Tighten to 25 Nm
