Wheel bearing, removing and installing

^ Sleeve VW 416 B
^ Sleeve VW 519
^ Thrust pad 40 - 105
^ Thrust pad 3005

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required:

^ Wheel bearing assembly set 3253
^ Press tool 3345
^ Collar for wheel bearing inner race 3423
^ - 2 - Puller Kukko 18/0

^ Remove wheel bearing housing.





Pressing out hub





Pressing wheel bearing out





Pulling inner race off wheel hub





Pressing wheel bearing into wheel bearing housing

^ Remove corrosion and dirt from wheel bearing housing hole, if necessary.
^ Press in onto stop.





Pressing in wheel hub
^ Press in onto stop.
^ Install wheel bearing housing.
