Hall sender seals, replacing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Work procedure

Left cylinder head
- Pull the connectors off from the ignition coils and fuel injectors and lay the wiring harness aside.
- Disconnect connector from Hall sender.
- Remove Hall sender housing with cover and cone.

Right cylinder head
- Remove right toothed belt cover.
- Disconnect connector from Hall sender.





- Remove bolts - 1 - from Hall sender.
- Remove bolts - 2 - from rear toothed belt cover.
- Pull the rear toothed belt cover slightly forward and remove the Hall sender housing with cover and cone.

Continuation for both cylinder heads





- Screw in adapter 2085/1 as shown.





- Unscrew inner portion of seal extractor 2085 several rotations from outer portion and secure with knurled-head bolt.
- Lubricate threaded head of seal extractor 2085, position and with forced pressure screw into oil seal as far as possible.
- Loosen knurled bolt and turn inner part against adapter 2085/1 until seal is removed.
- Secure the seal remover in a vice at the flat spots. Remove seal with pliers





- Then press in the new seal with seal installer 3241/1 and bolt 3241/3 so it sits flush.

The rest of the assembly is reverse of removal.
