Determining the Clutch Manufacturer

A clutch manufactured by "Sachs" or by "LuK" may be installed.

Clutch manufacturers can be determined with the transmission installed as follows:

- Remove the noise insulation.

- Remove the noise insulation from the oil pan if necessary.

Some recesses - arrows - are located between the engine - A - and transmission - B - in the lower area of the engine oil pan.





- Through these recesses, inspect the outer contour of the flywheel.

- The outer contour of the flywheel can also be inspected by removing the small cover plate - A -.
