Clutch Overview, Sachs





1 Dual Mass Flywheel

• Removing and installing, refer to one of the following:

Diesel engine

Gas engine

• Make sure the centering pins fit securely.

• Contact surface for clutch plate must be free of grooves, oil and grease.

2 Clutch Plate

• Allocation, refer to the parts catalog.

• Only replace together with the pressure plate.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Clutch, Sachs ] Clutch, Sachs.

• Installed position, refer to => [ Clutch Plate Installed
Position ] Clutch, Sachs.

3 Pressure Plate

• With the adjustment mechanism.

• Allocation, refer to the parts catalog.

• Only replace together with the clutch plate.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Clutch, Sachs ] Clutch, Sachs

• Checking the ends of the diaphragm spring, refer to => [ Checking Ends of the
Diaphragm Spring ] Clutch, Sachs.

• Check the spring and rivet connections, refer to => [ Checking Spring and
Rivet Connections ] Clutch, Sachs.

4 Bolt

• M6 = 13 Nm

• M7 = 20 Nm

• Allocation, refer to the parts catalog.

• Loosen and tighten in small steps and in a diagonal sequence.
