1 Radiator

• Removing and installing => [ Radiator ] Service and Repair.

• After replacing replace entire amount of coolant

2 O-ring

• Replace if damaged

3 Upper coolant hose

• Coolant hose connection diagram => [ Coolant Hose Connection Diagram ] [1][2]Cooling System.

4 Cap

• Check with cooling system tester (V.A.G 1274) and adapter (V.A.G 1274/9) => [ Pressure Relief Valve in Cap, Checking ] Cooling System, Checking For Leaks.

• Test pressure 1.4 to 1.6 bar

5 Connector

6 3 Nm

7 Expansion tank

• With Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor (G32)

• Check with cooling system tester (V.A.G 1274) and adapter (V.A.G 1274/8) => [ Cooling System, Checking for Leaks ] Cooling System, Checking For Leaks.

8 Lower coolant hose

• Coolant hose connection diagram => [ Coolant Hose Connection Diagram ] [1][2]Cooling System.

9 5 Nm

10 5 Nm

11 Coolant Fan 2 (V177)

• Only vehicles with optional equipment

• Removing and installing => [ Coolant Fans ] Service and Repair.

14 Coolant Fan 1 (V7)

• With Coolant Fan Control (FC) control module (J293)

• Removing and installing => [ Coolant Fans ] Service and Repair.
