- A data plate indicates the refrigerant used and capacity.







1. Instrument panel**

3. Right side window defroster air duct
- In right A-pillar

4. Right air vent

5. Heating and A/C controls - Climatic
- With Fresh Air/Recirculating Flap Switch E159
- With Rear Window Defogger Switch E230
- with Fresh Air Blower Switch E9
- With A/C Control Module J301
- With Immediate Heating Button E537 where applicable

6. Recirculation Flap Motor V113
- Checking: Use Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System VAS 5051/5052 in operating mode "Guided Fault Finding".
- Replacing: Initiate Basic Setting using Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System VAS 5051/5052 in operating mode "Guided Fault Finding".
7. Right footwell air vent

8. Fresh Air Blower V2
- Depending on unit configuration, blower on vehicle may not be exactly as shown here

9. Fresh Air Blower Series Resistor With Fuse N24
- Depending on unit configuration, resistor with fuse may not be exactly as shown here

10. Heating and ventilation unit partition
- Removing

11. Evaporator Vent Temperature Sensor G263
12. Sealing caps
- Only in vehicles without air guide to vent installed in center console at rear

13. Dust and pollen filter
- With activated charcoal filter

14. Center console air duct
- Connection to center console air guide
- To remove, center console must be removed Body Interior.

15. Right rear footwell air duct

- Observe varying lengths

- Only on models with Diesel engine

- Checking: Use Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System VAS 5051/5052 in operating mode "Guided Fault Finding".
- Replacing: Initiate Basic Setting using Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System VAS 5051/5052 in operating mode "Guided Fault Finding".
