Communication System

The communication systems include the different radios, the navigation system, the antenna systems, the speaker systems, the digital Sound package, the telephone system, the CD changer (R41) , the vehicle compass and the multifunction steering wheel.

Some equipment can be obtained only as options, also not all systems are installed in every vehicle.

Familiarity with the function and operation of the communication systems is essential in the event of customer concerns. Refer to the Owner's Manual.

Use "Guided Fault Finding" when servicing or performing Fault Finding with the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing & Information System (VAS 5051B).

Troubleshooting

Communication systems are equipped with OBD.

Use the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051B) under "Guided Fault Finding".
