Windshield Wiper System


When disconnecting and connecting the Battery, the procedure must be followed as described in the repair information. Refer to=> [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.



General Information

The Wiper Motor Control Module (J400) is integrated with the Windshield Wiper Motor (V).

To remove wiper blades, wiper arms must be driven into "service/winter position". The "service/winter position" is activated by operating the windshield wiper lever in the "one-touch wiping" position within 10 seconds after switching off the ignition. Refer to the Owner's Manual.






DTC Recognition and Display

The Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519) is equipped with OBD.

Use the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051B) under "Guided Fault Finding".
