Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) Mechatronic J743
Component location: Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) Mechatronic J743 is bolted on to transmission housing at front and covered by transmission oil pan.
Control module is integrated permanently on Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) Mechatronic J743.
^ Can be checked in "Guided Fault Finding" using VAS 5051 / VAS 5052

The Solenoid Valve 1 N88, Solenoid Valve 2 N89, Solenoid Valve 3 N90, Solenoid Valve 4 N91, Solenoid Valve 5 N92 and Automatic Transmission Pressure Regulating Valve 1 N215, Automatic Transmission Pressure Regulating Valve 2 N216, Automatic Transmission Pressure Regulating Valve 3 N217, Automatic Transmission Pressure Regulating Valve 4 N218, Automatic Transmission Pressure Regulating Valve 5 N233 and Automatic Transmission Pressure Regulating Valve 6 N371 are secured in Mechatronic.

The following sensors are located in the control module:
^ Automatic Transmission Hydraulic Pressure Sensor 1 G193 and Automatic Transmission Hydraulic Pressure Sensor 2 G194
^ Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor G93 and Temperature Sensor (in Control Module) G510
^ Transmission Output Speed (RPM) Sensor G195 and Transmission Output Speed (RPM) Sensor 2 G196
^ Driveshaft 1 Speed Sensor G501 and Driveshaft 2 Speed Sensor G502
^ Gear Position Distance Sensor 1 G487, Gear Position Distance Sensor 2 G488, Gear Position Distance Sensor 3 G489 and Gear Position Distance Sensor 4 G490





Transmission Input Speed (RPM) Sensor G182 with Clutch Oil Temperature Sensor G509
Component location: Transmission Input Speed (RPM) Sensor G182 with Clutch Oil Temperature Sensor G509 - A - is bolted on under the Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) Mechatronic J743 on transmission housing.





Shift Lock Solenoid N110
Component location: Shift Lock Solenoid N110 - arrow - is located in shift mechanism.





Selector Lever E313 with Tiptronic Switch F189 and Selector Lever Sensor System Control Module J587
Component location: The Selector Lever E313 is integrated in selector mechanism.

Tiptronic Switch F189 and Selector Lever Sensor System Control Module are integrated permanently in circuit board of shift mechanism.

Components cannot be replaced separately. Removal and installation is only possible in conjunction with selector mechanism.





Brake Light Switch F / Brake Pedal Switch F47
Component location: Brake Light Switch F or Brake Pedal Switch F47 is located in foot pedal assembly.

Note:
^ In order to assure sufficiently secure fitting, switch must not be installed more than once.





Kick Down Switch F8
Kick Down Switch F8 is integrated in housing of Throttle Position (TP) Sensor G79.
