Fog Lamp, Through 06.2005

CAUTION!
• Turn off the ignition and all electrical components.

• Remove the key.

Removing

- Remove the nuts on the inside of the left rear bumper - arrows -.





- Remove heat shield.

- Disconnect the connector on the fog lamp.

- Remove the fog lamp.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

- Tighten the nuts to 4 Nm.

- Make sure the fog lamp is working correctly.

Removing and installing the fog lamp is identical to removing and installing the backup lamp. Refer to => [ Backup Lamp, From 07.2005 ] Backup Lamp, From 07.2005.

Fog Lamp Bulb, Through 06.2005

CAUTION!
• Turn off the ignition and all electrical components.

• Remove the key.

Removing

- Remove the fog lamp. Refer to => [ Fog Lamp, Through 06.2005 ].

- Turn the bulb socket approximately 45° in direction of - arrow - and remove it from the housing.





- Remove the bulb from the socket.

Bulb 12 V/21 W

Installing

CAUTION!
• Do not touch the glass of the light bulb, when installing. Your fingers will leave traces of grease on the glass which, when the light is switched on, will evaporate and cloud the glass.

Install in reverse order of removal.

- When installing, make sure the bulb socket latches into the bulb housing when turning it opposite the direction of - arrow -.





- Make sure the fog lamp is working correctly.

Removing and installing the fog lamp bulb is identical to removing and installing the backup lamp bulb. Refer to => [ Backup Lamp Bulb, From 07.2005 ] Backup Lamp Bulb, From 07.2005.
