Difficulties In Window Upper Area With Force Limitation Intervention System (FLI), Overriding
- Prerequisite: Automatic opening and closing is OK.
- Ignition switched on
- Close door window with power window switch (automatic closing).
If driver's or front passenger's door window is impeded because it is tight or through an object during the closing sequence (force limitation intervention (FLI)) window will open again immediately.
- After the window has opened the respective window switch must be lifted or press and held in this position within 5 seconds.
If window is impeded again because it is tight or through an object during the closing sequence the window will stop immediately (force limitation intervention (FLI)).
- After window has stopped, switch must be operated again within 5 seconds to close the window.
The window will now close (beyond the obstruction) without force limitation intervention.
- Ignition switched off
If the driver's or front passenger's door window is impeded because it is tight or through an object during the closing sequence (force limitation intervention (FLI)) the window will open again immediately.
Operations using the interior power window switch is now blocked.
If within one minute of opening the window the ignition is switched on and the switched press (close window), the window will be closed without the automatic closure function.
