Radio/GPS/Telematics Antenna

CAUTION!
Prior to working on the electrical system:

Obtain the radio system anti-theft code.

Switch off all electrical consumers.

Switch off the ignition and remove the ignition key.

Disconnect the battery.

Vehicles with Telematics have a rear triplex antenna on the roof.

This antenna has connections for radio/GPS/Telematics.

Removing

- Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

- Remove the headliner..

The antenna wires are attached to the left and right roof cross-members.

- Disconnect connectors.

- Unscrew nut - 2 - and remove the antenna upward from the roof.





Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

- Insert the seal precisely in the holes - arrows - on the antenna base.





- When installing the antenna, ensure that antenna wires - 1 - are routed correctly through nut - 2 -.





- Apply contact grease to the inside of the roof in the nut lock washer area.

- Tighten the threaded connections to the tightening specification. Refer to => [ Radio/GPS/Telematics Antenna Overview ] Telematics.
