Radio Removal Tool (T10057)

CAUTION!
Prior to working on the electrical system:

Obtain the radio system anti-theft code.

Switch off all electrical consumers.

Switch off the ignition and remove the ignition key.

Get the radio code from the customer before removing the radio. Deactivate the anti-theft protection when replacing the radio. Refer to => [ Anti-Theft Coding, Activating ] Programming and Relearning. Tell the customer the new radio code.

The part number for the radio is on a label on the radio housing.

Removing

- If there is an MC/CD still in the radio, remove it. Refer to the Operating Instructions.

- Insert two clips on (T10057) in release slits on radio until they engage. Points on the grip eyelets of tool face outward.





- Remove the radio from the instrument panel at the (T10057 ) grip eyes.

- Remove the (T10057) by pressing the locking tabs on the radio.

- Disconnect all harness connectors on the radio.

Installing

- Connect harness connectors.

- Push the radio straight into the instrument panel until it engages.

During installation ensure that the lines are not pinched between the instrument panel and the radio housing and become damaged.
