• If necessary release the pressure in the cooling system before removing.

• Check the clip for secure seating.

23 Recirculation Pump (V55)
• Attached to the accessory bracket, 8 Nm.
• To remove the pump, remove the accessory bracket. Refer to => [ Accessory Bracket ] Service and Repair.

25 Coolant Thermostat
• Starts to open at 80 °C (176 °F).
• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Coolant Thermostat ] Service and Repair.

• With the coolant thermostat housing.

Recirculation Pump Component Location
The recirculation pump - arrow - is attached to the accessory bracket.
- Remove the accessory bracket from the cylinder block.
Accessory Bracket Bolt Tightening Sequence
- Tighten bolt - 2 and 4 - by hand.
- Tighten bolts - 1, 3 and 5 - by hand.
- Tighten all bolts uniformly and in a diagonal sequence to 23 Nm
