Turn Signals And Entry Lamps In Exterior Mirrors, Checking With Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM)

Mirror lamp function can be checked via output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) of Vehicle Electrical System Control Module J519.
- Connect Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System VAS 5051/5052. Procedures
- Select operating mode "Guided Fault Finding"
- Enter information as prompted and press ">" to confirm.

After the DTC memory of all control modules has been checked:
- Use "Go to" button to select "Function / Component Selection"
- Select "Body"
- Select "Electrical system int/ext"
- Select "01 - Self-diagnosis"
- Select "Vehicle Electrical System Control Module"
- Select "Vehicle Electrical System Control Module functions"
- Select "J519 - output DTM, sequential"
- Press ">" to confirm.
- Search and select appropriate light or switch component from menu
- Follow tester prompts
