Side Protective Molding

• The description applies to the left side. It can also be applied to the right side.

• Only remove the protective film right before assembly. Processing temperature is approximately 70° F (21 °C).

• Stand time after installing side protective moldings approx. 4 hours at an ambient temperature of approx. 70° F (21 °C).

• Only use adhesive remover D 002 000 10.

• Side protective moldings must be applied immediately after cleaning.





- Before removing, heat side protective moldings - 1 - and - 2 - using a hot air gun (V.A.G 1416) and remove side protective moldings.

- Remove any adhesive residue with adhesive remover (VAS 6349).

- Thoroughly clean the adhesion surface with adhesive remover D 002000 10 immediately before adhering side protective moldings.

- Pull off protective foil on side protective moldings - 1 - and - 2 - only before installation.

• Adhesion surfaces must be free of dust and grease.

- Place the side protective moldings - 1 - and - 2 - on vehicle and press side protective moldings on forcefully.
