ATF Circuit, Bleeding

ATF circuit, bleeding, 09D, 6 Speed A/T
- Check and correct ATF level as described in ATF level, checking and topping off.

CAUTION!
Wear eye protection.

- Perform road test. ATF temperature must reach at least 100° to vent ATF circuit.

When air leaves the ATF circuit, the ATF level in the transmission decreases. Therefore, the ATF level must be checked again later after fluid cools.
- Cool ATF below 30°C.
- Check ATF level again.
