Door Warning Lamps

CAUTION!
When removing and installing components in visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), cover by taping the areas at which a prying tool (plastic wedge, screwdriver) will be positioned using commercially available adhesive tape.

• Removal and installation for all door warning lamps is performed in the same way and is only described for one lamp.

Door warning lamps:

• Driver's Door Warning Lamp (W30)

• Front Passenger's Door Warning Lamp (W36)

• Left rear door warning lamp (W37)

• Right rear door warning lamp (W38)

Removing

- Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

- Carefully pry out lamp using a screwdriver.





- Release the connector and disconnect it.

Bulb, replacing

- Disengage retaining tabs - 1 - and remove heat shield - 2 - from diffusion lens of lamp.





- Carefully pry bulb from socket.





- Replace bulb (12V, 5 W).

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
