Compass Magnetic Field Sensor (G197)

The compass magnetic field sensor is installed inside the rear lid on the left side.

Removal

Do the following before starting the procedure:

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

- Remove the rear lid trim panel.

- Unclip Compass Magnetic Field Sensor at both attaching points - arrows -.






- Press locking mechanism of harness connector - arrows - and disconnect it.






Installation

Install in reverse order of removal.

- System must be calibrated anew after installation. Refer to the Owner's Manual.
