Technical Background

The condition may be the result of an abnormal Turbocharger Recirculating Valve -N249-.

Production Solution

Improved production.

Service

^ Remove the Turbocharger Recirculating Valve from the Turbocharger Housing and visually inspect the rubber diaphragm for lacerations and/or spring tension.





^ If the diaphragm is lacerated (see picture) or if there is no spring tension:

^ Replace the Turbocharger Recirculating Valve -N249-. If no rubber diaphragm damage was noted during inspection:

^ Continue with diagnosis.
