Clutch Overview, LuK






1 Dual Mass Flywheel

• Make sure it fits securely on the centering pins.

• Keep the clutch lining contact surface free of grooves, oil and grease.

2 Clutch Disc

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Clutch, LuK ] Clutch, LuK.

• Only replace together with the Self Adjusting Clutch (SAC) pressure plate.

• Installed position, refer to => [ Clutch disc installed position. ] Clutch, LuK.

3 SAC Pressure Plate

• SAC = "Self Adjusting Clutch".

• Only replace together with the clutch disc.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Clutch, LuK ] Clutch, LuK.

• Check the ends of the diaphragm spring, refer to => [ Check the ends of the diaphragm spring. ] Clutch, LuK.

• Check the spring and rivet connections, refer to => [ Check the spring and rivet connections. ] Clutch, LuK.

• Approximately from 05.11: Release bearing with an additional plastic washer. 4 Bolt

• M6 - 13 Nm

• M7 - 20 Nm

• Loosen and tighten in small steps and in a diagonal sequence.
