Notes ] Halogen Headlamps.

Always follow usage and safety information for gas discharge lamps. Refer to => [ HID Headlamps, Usage and Safety Precautions ] Service Precautions!

If the upper headlamp mounting tab - A -, the outer headlamp mounting tab - C - or the lower headlamp mounting tab - B - should be damaged or broken off, they can be replaced by installing the repair set. It is not necessary to replace the entire headlamp.

Check whether there is no further damage on the headlamp that makes installation of the repair set superfluous.

There are two different repair sets, one for the left and one for the right headlamp.

Each repair set contains the corresponding top, side and lower headlamp mounting tabs, three mounting bolts and two banjo fittings.

The following illustrations depict replacement of mounting tabs at right headlamp.

Replacement of securing lugs on left headlamp and on right headlamp are performed analogously.

During removal and installation, leave ignition key with remote control inside the vehicle to prevent the doors from locking and possibly activating the Coming Home / Leaving Home functions on its own.
