Horn: Service and Repair

Horns

• High Tone Horn (H2) and Low Tone Horn (H7) are activated in parallel by Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519).

• Removal and installation for High Tone Horn and Low Tone Horn is performed in the same way and is only described for one signal horn.

• Signal horns are installed at left and right in front of longitudinal members.

Removal

- Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

- Remove front bumper cover.

- Disconnect electrical connection - 1 -.






- Remove the nuts - arrows - (5 Nm) and remove signal horn.

Installation

- Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
