Luggage Compartment Lamp

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (VAS 3409)

• The luggage compartment light is located in the rear lock carrier cover.

• When removing and installing components in a visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), mask off the areas at which a prying tool ( (VAS 3409) , screwdriver) will be positioned, using commercially available adhesive tape.

Removal

- Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

- Pry light out of rear lock carrier cover using (VAS 3409) or a screwdriver.






- Disconnect electrical connection - arrow -.






Bulb, Replacing






- Push contact plate - 1 - of light outward and remove the tubular bulb - 2 - from the socket.

- Replace the tubular bulb (12V, 10 W).

Installation

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
