Exterior Mirror Turn Signal and Entry Lamp Bulbs

General Description

The turn signal bulb in the exterior mirror (side turn signal) is installed in the exterior mirror housings.

In addition, there is one entry lamp each in exterior mirror housing which illuminates the dark entry area around opened driver and front passenger door.






1 Driver exterior mirror turn signal lamp (L131) and Front passenger exterior mirror turn signal lamp (L132)
2 Driver's Entry Lamp (in outside mirror) (W52) and Front Passenger's Entry Lamp (in outside mirror) (W53)

DTC Recognition and Display

The vehicle electrical system control module is equipped with On Board Diagnostics (OBD), which assists troubleshooting.

For troubleshooting, use Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051A) in operating mode "Guided Fault Finding".

• The light diodes are switched individually.

• According to ECE regulation, 1 diode may fail, but the side turn signal bulb must be replaced if the 2nd diode fails!
