Short description





On the transmissions, transmission code letters are located on the top of the transmission in the area of the selector lever cable - two arrows

If these cannot be read or are on the head, the transmission code letters can also be read under the right assembly mounting plate.

To read the transmission code letters under the plate directly from the transmission, the engine and transmission must be supported.





The left assembly mounting plate - A - must be removed. When doing this, it is important to lower the engine/transmission only far enough until the plate can be slid toward rear. If lowered further, the pendulum support could be damaged. After reassembly, selector lever cable must be adjusted.

3.2L 184 kW V6 engine
- Remove entire air filter housing.
- Remove retaining plate under air filter from long member (3 bolts).





- Only support engine and transmission, do not raise. Place short spindle with Spacer 10 - 222 A /17 toward rear.
^ Engine support bridge 10 - 222 A
^ Adapter 10 - 222 A /18
^ Adapter 10 - 222 A /8 flat side toward engine compartment
^ Bracket T10346
^ Use Spacer 10 - 222 A /17 on rear spindle





- Remove all bolts - 1 - and - 2 - of plate - A -.
- Then lower engine/transmission slightly over Engine Support Bridge 10 - 222 A spindles until plate can be removed.





Approximately 2 rotations is sufficient to remove plate - arrow -.
