65 Nm + 90° (1/4) additional turn

Always replace.

Fully threaded.

Only tighten the crankshaft bearing cap bolts to 65 Nm to measure radial play. Do not rotate further.

Axial play: new 0.07 to 0.23 mm

Wear limit: 0.30 mm

Measure radial clearance with Plastigage.

Radial clearance: new 0.017 to 0.037 mm

Wear limit: 0.07 mm

Do not turn the crankshaft when measuring radial play.
