Tank Door Unit

Tank Door Unit

Removing

- Remove tail lamp.

- Remove fuel tank cap.





- Remove clip - 1 - for tank lid release and pull tank lid release - 3 - into fender.

- Remove bolt - 2 -.

Convertible





- Loosen rear wheel housing liner - 2 -. Refer to=> [ Rear Wheel Housing Liner ] Service and Repair.

- Remove hose - 1 - from bracket - 3 - and allow to hang free.

All Vehicles





- Lift rear of tank lid unit - 1 - and remove out of fender opening toward rear.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

Tank Lid Release Motor

• The tank lid release motor is located on bracket in right wheel housing.

Removing

- Remove right luggage compartment side trim.

- Disconnect connector - 1 - from motor - 2 -.





- Unhook cable on bracket - arrow -.

- Loosen bolts - 3 -, remove motor - 2 - from bracket and unhook cable on motor.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

- Check function of tank lid remote release motor before installing trim.
