^ Oil level must not be above the max. mark!

7. 15 Nm plus an additional 90° (1/4 turn)

^ Before installing, check to be sure both alignment bushings are present for centering

^ Prevents engine oil from foaming up

^ Clean strainer if soiled

^ Replace
12. 15 Nm plus an additional 90° (1/4 turn)

^ Check contact surfaces for groove build-up

^ Check contact surfaces for groove build-up
15. Oil pump cover

17. 20 Nm plus an additional 90° (1/4 turn)
^ Replace
18. Chain tensioner with tensioning rail
^ Pre-load to install

Part 3 (oil filter bracket)





1. Pipe
^ For crankcase ventilation
2. Oil pressure switch F1
^ 1.4 bar, black
^ Torque specification 20 Nm
3. 15 Nm
^ With Ground (GND) wire for oil pressure switch
4. Bracket
5. 25 Nm
6. Oil cooler
^ Ensure sufficient clearance to surrounding components
7. Gasket
^ Replace

9. Seal
^ Replace
^ Insert when oiled
^ Service flag upward
10. Dust cap

^ Remove and install using oil filter wrench 3417.

^ Drain oil filter housing before removing
