Center Console Lamps and Switches

Rear Heated Seat Regulating Switches (E128) and (E129)

Removal and installation of the following components is performed for Left Rear Heated Seat Regulating Switch (E128) and Right Rear Heated Seat Regulating Switch (E129) in the same way and is only described for one component.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (3409)

• When removing and installing components in a visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), mask off the areas at which a prying tool ((3409), screwdriver) will be positioned, using commercially available adhesive tape.

Removing:

- Switch ignition and all electrical consumers off and disengage the key or ignition switch in position 0 (ignition off).

- Carefully remove trim - 1 -.





- Remove screws - arrows -.





- First pull panel toward rear in - direction of arrow 1 -, then upward in - direction of arrow 2 - and remove panel.





- Disengage connector - 1 - and disconnect it.





- Remove Left Rear Heated Seat Regulating Switch - 2 - from panel.

Installing:

Install in reverse order of removal.
