Anti-lock Brake System with EDL/ASR/ESP







1 - ABS Control Module -J104-
• Located on the hydraulic unit on the right side of the engine compartment.

2 - ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55-
• Located on the right side of the engine compartment
The hydraulic unit consists of the following components:
• Brake Pressure Sensor 1 -G201-
• ABS Return Flow Pump -V39-
• Valve block (contains the in/outlet valves)

3 - Brake Pad Wear Indicator Lamp -K32-
• Located in the instrument cluster

4 - ABS Warning Lamp -K47-
• Located in the instrument cluster

5 - ASR/ESP Control Lamp -K155-
• Located in the instrument cluster

6 - Brake System Warning Lamp -K118-
• Located in the instrument cluster

7 - Brake Light Switch -F-
• Located on the master cylinder

8 - ASR/ESP Button -E256-
• Located in the center console

9 - ESP Sensor Unit -G419- and Electro-Mechanical Parking Brake Control Module -J540-
• Located beneath the center console: => [ ESP Sensor Unit ] See Image Below.
• Installed together in one housing
• Integrated with Transverse Acceleration Sensor -G200- , Rotation Rate Sensor -G202- , and Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor -G251-

10 - Diagnostic Connection
• Located under the cover in the driver footwell

11 - Steering Angle Sensor -G85-
• Located on the steering column between the steering wheel and steering column switch: => [ Steering Angle Sensor ] See Image Below.
