Bowden Cable For Temperature Flap Bowden Cable, Removing And Installing

Removing
- Remove controls for hot air and fresh air.
- Carefully pull out adapter for controls.







- Reach into center console and disengage locking mechanism -1- of Bowden cable sleeve -2- and remove Bowden cable sleeve from mount.
- Disengage ball on Bowden cable -3- from operating lever -4-.
- Remove driver side footwell trim.







- Unclip Bowden cable at adjusting unit of temperature flap -A- and unclip heating unit -B-

Installing







Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. When doing this, make sure that Bowden cable lies under the hook -arrow-.

NOTE: When installing flexible shaft, adapter and rotary switches on controls for hot air and fresh air must have a specific position to each other, otherwise it will malfunction.

- Check whether temperature knob can be moved easily from "cold" to "warm".
