Emergency Flasher Switch (E3)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (3409)

The following component is integrated in Emergency Flasher Switch:

• Emergency Flasher Indicator Lamp (K6)

• When removing and installing components in a visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), mask off the areas at which a prying tool ((3409), screwdriver) will be positioned, using commercially available adhesive tape.

• Remove the panels only in the sequence indicated.

Removing:

- Switch ignition and all electrical consumers off and disengage the key or ignition switch in position 0 (ignition off).

- Remove panel - 2 - using (3409).





- Remove panel - 1 - using (3409).

- Remove panel - 5 - using (3409).

- Remove panel - 4 - using (3409).

- Remove panel - 3 - using (3409).

- Remove the mounting bolts - arrows - and remove bracket - 1 - with Emergency Flasher Switch.





- Disconnect the connector - arrow -.





- Disengage retaining lugs - arrows - and remove Emergency Flasher Switch - 1 -.





Installing:

Install in reverse order of removal.
