Selector Lever, Emergency Release

Selector lever, emergency release 09M, 6 Speed FWD A/T

Do not remove handle.
- Unclip shift cover and hold aside.
- Operate brake or engage parking brake.





- Press yellow plastic part from right to left.

Lever can now be shifted out of position P.

Handle, removing and installing
For all handles, there is the possibility that the button can be pressed into the handle. Never install handle with the button pressed in.





- Before removing, pull button past pressure point.
- Secure button from being pressed in using a cable tie or wire.
- Unclip cover.





- Disengage handle.
- After installing, engage handle again, press plastic piece again downward under handle.





- Transport protection can be removed on new handles after disengaging.
- Disconnect connector from cover.
- Remove handle upward
