Generation IV Haldex Clutch, Checking Function

• Check the Haldex clutch during a test drive using the vehicle diagnosis and service system (VAS 5052).

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Vehicle diagnosis and service system (VAS 5052)

CAUTION!
Measurement and testing procedures should be performed as follow to avoid risk of accident:

• Only the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5051A) or vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5052) is used to read out measured value blocks. The device must always be secured on rear side and operated from there by a second person.

- Connect the vehicle diagnosis and service system (VAS 5052).

- Select "Suspension (Rep. - Gr. 01; 40 to 49)" off.

- Select "All Wheel Drive with Haldex clutch (4th generation) " on the display.

- Select "01 - On Board Diagnostic capable system" on the display.

- Select "Functions" on the display.

- Select "Diagnostic Test Mode" on the display.

- Follow the instructions on the tester.
