• Disconnect battery before removing components marked with **.
• A data plate indicates the refrigerant used and capacity.

2 Center Outlet Temperature Sensor (G191)

3 Center vents

4 Right side vent
5 Controls for heating and A/C system, Climatic
• Passat from MY 2006
• With fresh air/recirculating door switch (E159)
• Also with immediate heating button (E537) in vehicles with an auxiliary heater
• With rear window defogger switch (E230)
• With fresh air blower switch (E9)
• On vehicles with heated seals also with heated driver seat adjuster (E94) and heated front passenger seat adjuster (E95)
• With A/C control module (J301)

7 Fresh/Recirculating Air Door Motor (V154)
• Checking: Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5051B) or newer model.
• Removing and installing. Refer to => [ Fresh/Recirculating Air Door Motor ] Fresh/Recirculating Air Door Motor.
• Replace: Initiate the Basic Setting function with the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5051B) (or newer model). Refer to => [ Climatronic A/C System, Checking and Adjusting Components ] Climatronic A/C System, Checking and Adjusting Components.
8 Air distribution door motor (V428) with air distribution door motor position sensor (G645)
• Passat CC from MY 2009
• Checking: Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5051B) or newer model.
• Removing and installing. Refer to => [ Air Distribution Door Motor, Climatic ] Door Motors and Temperature Sensors (Climatic System).
• Replace: Initiate the Basic Setting function with the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5051B) (or newer model). Refer to => [ Climatronic A/C System, Checking and Adjusting Components ] Climatronic A/C System, Checking and Adjusting Components.
9 Right footwell vent
• Removing and installing. Refer to => [ Right Footwell Vent ] Removal and Replacement.
10 Fresh Air Blower (V2)
• Removing and installing. Refer to => [ Fresh Air Blower ] Fresh Air Blower.
11 Fresh Air Blower Series Resistor With Fuse (N24)
• Removing and installing. Refer to => [ Fresh Air Blower Series Resistor with Fuse ] Service and Repair.
12 Evaporator Vent Temperature Sensor (G263)
• Removing and installing. Refer to => [ Evaporator Vent Temperature Sensor ] Temperature Sensors (Climatronic System).
13 Heating unit partition
• Removing, refer to => [ Heating and A/C Unit Partition ] Heating and A/C Unit Partition.
14 Dust and pollen filter
• Removing and installing. Refer to => [ Dust and Pollen Filter ] Removal and Replacement.
15 Sealing caps
• Only in vehicles without air guide to vent installed in center console at rear.
16 Connection
• For air duct, rear vent.
• To remove, the center console must be removed.
17 Air duct to rear vent

18 Rear vent

19 Rear channel for right footwell

26 Footwell Outlet Temperature Sensor (G192)

27 Temperature Regulator Door Motor (V68) with Temperature Regulator Door Motor Position Sensor (G92)
• Checking: Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5051B) or newer model.
