Front seat frame creaks/generates noise when driving or in stationary position during seat pressure shift.

Technical Background





Insufficient lubricant applied between the rear cross pipe -1- and the two side rails -2- of the seat frame.

Production Solution

Not applicable.

Service

Note:
Do NOT replace the seat frame.

Apply lubricant to contact points between cross pipe and side rails on seat frame.





Remove front seat -1- see Body Interior, Seats
- Frames in repair manual.





^ Lubricate the contact point arrowbetween rear cross pipe and side rails (LH, RH) of seat frame with lubricant Part No. G000115A2.

^ Install seat.

^ Verify repair.
