Fan Support and Fans

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque wrench (VAG 1331)

Removing

- Remove insulation panel..

- Remove front coolant pipe from fan mount.

- Unclip coolant hose from lock carrier.

- Remove front bumper.

- Bring lock carrier into service position. Radiator Support

- Disconnect fan connector and free up wiring.

- Loosen bolts - arrows - and remove fan support upward with fans.





Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse of removal, noting the following:

- Electrical connections and routing.

- Check headlight adjustment and adjust if necessary.
