CYLINDER HEADCylinder Head Cover Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification
Tighten the cylinder head cover bolts- 1 through 17 - in the sequence shown to 10 Nm.
Cylinder Head Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification
Tighten the cylinder head bolts - 1 through 20 - in the sequence shown, starting from inside and working toward outside, as follows:
Pre-tighten all the bolts to 15 Nm.
Then tighten all the bolts to 30 Nm.
Tighten all bolts (1/2 turn) (180°) further using a ratchet.
INTAKE MANIFOLD
Intake Manifold to cylinder head bolt 8 Nm
Intake Manifold support to Intake Manifold Bolt 20 Nm
CAMSHAFT BEARING CAP
Camshaft Bearing Cap Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification
A - Intake Camshaft
Tighten bearing caps 5 and 9 alternating in diagonal sequence and tighten to 5 Nm + 1/8 additional turn (45°).
bearing caps 1 and 13 and tighten to 5 Nm and 1/ 8 turn (45°).
bearing caps 7 and 13 and tighten to 5 Nm and 1/ 8 turn (45°).
bearing caps 3 and 11 and tighten to 5 Nm and 1/ 8 turn (45°).
B - Exhaust Camshaft
Tighten bearing caps 6 and 10 alternating in diagonal sequence and tighten to 5 Nm + 1/8 additional turn (45°).
bearing caps 2 and 14 and tighten to 5 Nm and 1/ 8 turn (45°).
bearing caps 8 and 13 and tighten to 5 Nm and 1/ 8 turn (45°).
bearing caps 4 and 12 and tighten to 5 Nm and 1/ 8 turn (45°).
FLYWHEEL/FLEX PLATE
Drive plate Bolt 60 Nm + 90 degrees turn.
ROD BEARING CAP
Connecting rod bearing cap 30 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°)
CRANKSHAFT PULLEY
Vibration Damper Bolt 100 Nm + 180 degrees Turn
OIL PUMP
Oil Pump Bolt 1 8 Nm
WATER PUMP
Coolant Pump bolt 8 Nm
