- Remove combustion chamber insert
- Pull off retaining clip - A - .
Retaining clip changed from 02.2003 Observe installed position

NOTE: A retaining clip turned 180 degrees will result in malfunction.

- Remove Glow Plug (with flame monitoring) Q8 - B - from combustion chamber insert and remove mount - C - and - D - .

Installing

NOTE:
- Install retaining clip - A - and check glow plug is correctly seated.
- Insert wiring in support - D - and route as in figure.
- Ensure correct seating of gasket - C - .
