Ribbed Belt and Pulleys Overview
1 Bolt, 22 Nm
2 Tensioner
3 Ribbed belt
• Check for wear.
• Do not kink.
• Before removing, mark direction of rotation using chalk or felt tip marker. A reversed turning direction can cause damage to the ribbed belt under operating conditions.
• Removing and installing, refer to --> [ Ribbed Belt ] Ribbed Belt.
• When installing, make sure it is seated correctly on the pulleys.
4 Cap
5 Bolt, 22 Nm
6 Generator
7 Bolt, M8 - 22 Nm; M10 - 46 Nm
8 Alignment bushing
• For generator bracket.
• 2 pieces
9 Generator bracket
• Illustration does not correspond to version on vehicle.
10 Bolt, 9 Nm
11 Bracket
• For idler pulley.
12 Idler pulley
13 Bolt, 22 Nm
14 Vibration damper
• Removing and installing, refer to --> [ Vibration Damper ] Service and Repair.
15 Bolt, 22 Nm + 45° (1/8 turn) additional turn
• Replace
16 Alignment bushing
• 2 pieces
17 Bracket
• For belt tensioner.
18 Bolt, 9 Nm
• Note bolt lengths.
