1 Throttle valve control module (J338)

• After replacement, adapt in "Guided Functions" operating mode under "Adapting throttle valve control module".


2 Low fuel pressure sensor (G410)

3 Knock Sensor (KS) 4 (G199)

• Component location, refer to --> [ Components Located on Inside of Left Cylinder Head ]

• Removing and installing, refer to --> [ Knock Sensor ] Service and Repair.

4 Camshaft adjustment valve 2 (N208)

• Component location, refer to --> [ Components Located on Inside of Left Cylinder Head ]

5 Fuel metering valve 2 (N402)

• In high pressure pump.


6 Camshaft adjustment valve 2 (exhaust) (N319)

• Component location, refer to --> [ Components Located on Outside of Left Cylinder Head ]

7 Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor 2 (G246)

8 Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor 4 (G301)

• Component location, refer to --> [ Components Located on Outside of Left Cylinder Head ]

9 Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor (on radiator) (G83)


10 Ignition coils, cylinder bank 2

• Ignition coil 5 with power output stage (N323).

• Ignition coil 6 with power output stage (N324).

• Ignition coil 7 with power output stage (N325).

• Ignition coil 8 with power output stage (N326).

• Component location, refer to --> [ Components Located on Outside of Right Cylinder Head ] Cylinder Bank 1 Component Location

11 Electrical connectors

• Black for knock sensor 3 (G198).

• Brown for knock sensor 4 (G199).

12 Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor 2 (G163)

• Component location, refer to --> [ Components Located on Inside of Left Cylinder Head ]

13 Intake manifold runner position sensor 2 (G512)

• Component location, refer to --> [ Components Located on the Front of the Engine (with an Aluminum Intake Manifold) ] Cylinder Bank 1 Component Location

• After replacement, adapt in "Guided Functions" operating mode in "Adapting intake manifold runner position sensor".

14 Knock Sensor (KS) 3 (G198)

• Component location, refer to --> [ Components Located on Inside of Left Cylinder Head ]

• Removing and installing, refer to --> [ Knock Sensor ] Service and Repair.

15 Intake flap motor (V157)

16 Fuel injectors, cylinder bank 2

• Cylinder 5 fuel injector (N83).

• Cylinder 6 fuel injector (N84).

• Cylinder 7 fuel injector (N85).

• Cylinder 8 fuel injector (N86).
