Fastener Tightening Specifications





• 1 Replace seal

Left Cylinder Head Cover Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification





- Tighten the left cylinder head cover bolts - 1 through 15 - in the sequence shown to 9 Nm..

Right Cylinder Head Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification





- Tighten the left cylinder head cover bolts - 1 through 16 - in the sequence shown to 9 Nm..

Cylinder Head Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification





- Tighten the cylinder head bolts - 1 through 10 - in 4 passes in the sequence shown as follows:

• First pass, tighten to 30 Nm using a torque wrench.

• Second pass, tighten to 60 Nm using a torque wrench.

• Third pass, tighten to 90° (1/4 turn) additional turn using a wrench.

• Final pass, tighten to 90° (1/4 turn) additional turn using a wrench.

- Insert bolts - arrows - with locking compound and tighten to 8 Nm.

- Tighten bolts - arrows - an additional 90° (1/4 turn) using a wrench.

Bearing Bracket Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification





- Tighten the bearing bracket bolts - 1 through 24 - in the sequence shown to 8 Nm.
