Roof Pillar Trim

• All screws are microencapsulated and must always be replaced.

• The trim can remain in the vehicle during various repairs except when the tensioning bands are loosened.

• Ensure the trim remaining in the vehicle is not damaged when operating the roof.

• New roof pillar trim must be prepared for installation. Refer to => [ New Roof Pillar Trim, Preparing ] New Roof Pillar Trim, Preparing.






- Loosen tensioned headliner from side mounts.

- Remove the bolt - 4 -.

- Using Trim Removal Wedge (3409) , pry trim - 1 - out of mount in guide rail - a arrow -.

- Pull trim with clips down - arrow b - from guide rail.

- Pull trim forward - arrow c - out of mount - 7 -.

If screw - 5 - with eye - 6 - is loosened, trim can remain in vehicle during various repairs without loosening tensioning bands.
