Rear Shelf, Installing






- Bring the rear lid out of the service position.

- With a second technician, slide rear shelf - 1 - in between the rear lid - 2 - and frame - 3 -.

- Install screws - 4 -.

- Adjust the measurement between the stop buffers on the frame - 3 -.

- Adjust an even gap dimension of 4 mm - arrows - and tighten screws at the markings.

• The assembly frame and locking bracket are clamped with the tensioning element for Eos (VAS 6373) and pre-tensioning tool (VAS 6389).






• The roof is locked completely.

- Place the pre-tensioning tool (VAS 6389/2) between the assembly frame and locking bracket.

- Tighten the pre-tensioning tool (VAS 6389/1).

- Guide the tensioning element for Eos (VAS 6373) into the opening as far as the stop. Rotate the tensioning element 90°.

- The stop buffer must be opened.

- Tighten the screws on the rear shelf, tightening specification: 22 Nm.
