Rear Window Frame Seal

• The securing strip - 3 - is integrated in the seal - 1 - on vehicles from August 2007.






Removing

- Open roof until rear window frame - 4 - is placed on roof center section.

- Remove seal - 1 - from rear window frame from center out.

- On vehicles built through July 2007, pull the seal off the side securing strips - 3 -.

- If vehicle built from August 2007, remove the screws - 2 -.

Installation

- For easier installation, coat the seal - 1 - on the bottom with soapy water.

- Press seal into mount on bottom of rear window frame - 4 -.

- Tighten the screws - 2 - to 4.5 Nm.

With rear window frame closed and locked, seal must be seated on entire width of protective molding - 5 -.
