Front Door Crash Sensors

• Removal and installation is described for the right side of the vehicle. Removing and installing on the left side is identical.

Removing


Observe safety precautions for working on airbags.

- Disconnect the battery.

- Remove corresponding door trim:

• Driver side: => [ Driver Door Trim ] Driver Door Trim

• Passenger side: => [ Passenger Door Trim ] Passenger Door Trim

- Disconnect the wiring harness - 1 - from the crash sensor - 3 -.






- Remove the two bolts - 2 - (2.5 Nm).

Installation

- Install in reverse order of removal.

- Turn on the ignition.


Make sure that no persons are in the vehicle.

- Connect the battery.
