Proceed with caution when reusing hydraulic cylinder.
Spring clips must not be pried completely out of ball socket, otherwise they will be damaged.
Spring clips should not be bent too much, otherwise they will be damaged.
The hydraulic cylinder can jump out of the mounts and injure the operator.
Hydraulic system is sensitive to any ingress of dirt.
Cover the components as soon as the system is opened to prevent contaminants from entering.
Gaskets must be replaced.
- Remove trim on the frame.
- Open bypass screw on hydraulic pump.
- Reach under spring clips - 3 - using a small screwdriver.
- Raise the spring clips- 3 - just far enough so they can slide over the ball socket in direction of the - arrow a -.
- Remove hydraulic cylinder - 1 - from ball studs.
After removing hydraulic cylinder - 1 -, immediately slide back spring clips - 3 - again.
- Lift the clip - 5 - far enough so it can slide over mounting pins - 4 - in - direction of arrow b -.
- Remove hydraulic cylinder - 1 - from mounting pins - 4 - - arrow c -.
- Remove hydraulic cylinder - 1 - from securing frame.
- Remove hydraulic line from hydraulic cylinder and secure. Refer to => [ Hydraulic Line on Hydraulic Cylinder ] Hydraulic Line on Hydraulic Cylinder.
